WHY JOIN A COMMUNITY CARE GROUP?

WHY JOIN A COMMUNITY CARE GROUP?

The answer is simple. God encourages us to be with “One Another” over and over throughout scripture. The benefits of belonging in a group of people who will accept, uplift, support, and encourage you, as you experience the ups and downs that life can bring is one of God’s most precious gifts!

To Show Love;

  • "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you."  John 15:12

To Prefer One Another:

  • "Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;" Romans 12:10

Receive One Another

  • "Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God...” Romans 15:7

Admonish One Another

  • “And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another."  Romans 15:14

Greet One Another:

  • "Greet one another with an holy kiss."  2 Corinthians 13:12

To Serve One Another:

  • "For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another."  Galatians 5:13

Forbear One Another

  • " With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love”

Ephesians 4:2

Kindness And Forgiveness Of One Another:

  • “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

Ephesians 4:32

Comfort And Edification Of One Another:

  • "Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do." 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Exhort One Another To Stay Away From Sin

  • "But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin."

Hebrews 3:13

Consider One Another And Encourage Good Works

  • "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Hebrews 10:24

Get Together In Groups For Encouragement

  • “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." Hebrews 10:25

While Together We Are Not To Judge Each Other

  • "Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way."  Romans 14:13

Submit One To Another – Around God

  • "Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God." Ephesians 5:21

Confess Faults To Each Other And Pray For Each Other FOR HEALING

  • "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."  James 5:16

In the Gospels/Acts “One to Another” is most often used when Christians were asking each other questions

  • Just as we often do in our Community Care Groups
