MY FRIEND & FAMILY GROUPS, COMMUNITY GROUPS, & CHURCH GROUPS ARE FREE OF CHARGE BECAUSE ENCOURAGEMENT IS ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS! Fees for the cost of printing our weekly lessons may apply. Nobody will be turned away if they cannot afford our small fees for the printing.

What to Expect at Rise Above

I realize that joining a new group can feel overwhelming for many women.
-
I work hard to create an environment that feels safe for those who are eager to share their thoughts and experiences as well as those who prefer to participate by simply listening to what others are sharing.

I think it's crucial for every woman to have the freedom to communicate at her own speed and comfort level.

Whether you are an extrovert, an introvert, or somewhere in between, it is my sincerest desire that you will feel safe, comfortable, and encouraged while attending.

What Happens at Rise Above
-
We meet for 1 1/2 hours each week for 10 sessions
-
Each week will include a time of review before the new lesson is taught
-
Each new lesson typically includes a combination of biblical truths and practical tools
-
You will also have time to individually complete personal processing sheets that enable you to begin applying the new truths to your own life.
-
You will not have to share anything you are not wanting to discuss. Our processing sheets are designed for your own personal understanding and application.

You will set new weekly goals for yourself based on what you learned
-
We end each week with a time of discussion that might include questions, comments, encouragement, and sharing.

Coffee, tea, lattes, and snacks will be provided beginning at 6:30 pm

Weekly lesson is taught from 7 pm - 8:30 pm
